Let's Broaden it with the quotes!
1. Figure out the bad thoughts and replace with positive ones
"Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results." —Willie Nelson

Take a notebook or a paper, on one side write down all pieces of every bad thought that appears in your mind, now note the positive on another side. Read them two to three times and then let go or ✖ out those which you think are a waste of time.
You're good with those which matters. Get their actual reasons that make you sad and solve each with the presence of mind then lastly compare it with good ones.
You are done!

2. Beautiful sleep
"The world looks positive when I wake up from a beautiful sleep, no dreams but also no older thoughts." —Pratik Prajapati

In my old times, I was feeling bad when some circumstances of reality hit my dream world with lots of unacceptable reasons. Eventually, I was brave enough to google my thoughts like you today and felt self-esteem. The only reason I had all that was my sleep. It doesn't mean to sleep whenever you are feeling but at the end of the day, it was the only thing that psychologically tunes that my mind for a fresh morning.

3. Talk to a friend
"A friend in need is a friend indeed" —Quintus Ennius

Easy and best way to let go of your issues is your mature friend (who first laughs or gets angry). You go there and talk to your fella to share what you feel now.

4. Interact with outdoor activities
"Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air" —Ralph Waldo Emerson

You are feeling awful and but not homesick, you choose to go out of it and saw your favourite game, thinking about what to do? Go and have fun, it will help you let things go as they are.

5. Practice meditation
"We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” —Buddha

Practicing meditation helps you to bring yourself into the present moment you belong.

6. Stop blaming yourself
"Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future." —John F. Kennedy

People come and go, things will happen most dramatic to cold but have faith, it's good to blame yourself for taking full responsibility for life. But sometimes it's not your fault anyhow. So just stop that okay!

7. Put a small note in a balloon
"Imagine putting all your negative thoughts in a balloon… Now let that balloon float away and just smile. Life isn't so bad, is it? :)" —Melly Jelly

Ah, my favourite one. I just want to do this. Will write terrible emotions in the paper, attaching to a balloon and let it flow away. As far as it gets your emotions too.

8. Cry out your emotions
"Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness." —Steve Maraboli

Soften your heart and cry out loud, it releases negative chemicals that stress your mind.

9. Stream standup comedy on Youtube
"Moral stories are cute and full of innocence but standup comedies are the heart of mine cause in my sad times they were the best cures to let go." —Pratik Prajapati

Humour is a weapon that shoots directly your mind and when it merges with comedy your stress, tension, anxiety and the pressure barely stand in front of it cause laughter soothes tension.

10. Listen to your favourite music albums
"One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” —Bob Marley Quote

Promote your healing process by 200%, psychology says listening to your favourite empowered music helps your body to release happy hormones that boost up your mind.

11. Jump out from your room
"Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes,' he said, his voice rising as applause and cheers mounted. 'Shake it off. Stop complainin'. Stop grumblin'. Stop cryin'. We are going to press on. We have work to do." —Barack Obama

12. Decrease your expectation level
"If you expect nothing from somebody, for he shall never be disappointed." —Alexander Pope

Just expect less from everything and everyone, the no. 1 policy will make you feel great of letting it go.

13. Go for a "me-walk" and observe the beautiful world around you
"Freedom - to walk free and own no superior." —Walt Whitman

Do you remember the music part? Yes.
Now connect both of them and walk out of your home rocking in the streets with your earphones in.

14. Volunteer
"One of the gratuities about being a director is that you can volunteer yourself out of difficult details." —Steven Spielberg

How to let go of things?
Becoming a helping of others is a key to self-motivation and self-happiness. Both ideally works.

15. Show your feelings with creative writing or painting
"You have feelings that are not visible, if you leave it inside, it will hollow you someday without any achievement, let go of your feelings with the passion of creation. Someday you will feel proud of them." — Pratik Prajapati

As I am a poet too, sometimes I share and let go of my feelings and emotions through these poems that came from my mind and in the end, I sense pleasure.

16. You deserve better than what you lose
"Don't ever say you're not good enough. If that person can't see how amazing you are then they are the one who's not good enough". —Anonymous

God is great, he has plans for you, just don't sorrow about your X(anything or anyone) and be prepared to accept what you deserve the best.
