Congratulations!
You are matured enough to understand that there is no gain of shouting at someone just because of your anxiety, stress or anger.
And congratulations to those too who choose the right decision of not yelling on the irritated person who already screamed at you.
Sometimes, it becomes tough to handle our anxiety and we burst or say anything to our loved ones that can create a light trauma in their mind or heart. So it's necessary to hold our negative energy and convert it into a positive calm one.
I am sure that a bitter memory or a recent incident will strike in your eye while reading it.
What is anger?
Anger is just an emotional flow of annoyance and displeasure. It arises due to how we react and interpret certain situations.
Learn how people, who become angry control their feelings in a positive way.
But the main reason for this is anxiety nowadays. Because you live at home more than in offices or outdoor areas and you can get angry anytime. Getting too much angry can build short temper in you.
How to control anger?
1. Rethink why you are angry
It's easy to get angry with even a feather touch as you are already filled. Think again and recognize that it's not anyone's fault.
2. Empathize issues
Try to "Put yourself in other's shoes" to know what another person is feeling and it's easy also. If you have a bad day and your friend had too and both are angry now, what will you do?
Instead of throwing things, empathize and feel free.
3. Use Humour
I use it all the time. As it's my favourite weapon against anger. Humour is a light-hearted use of ideas and words to create a happy shot. Avoid sarcasm or insulting humour, as these can make the situation worse.
“If you’re going to tell people the truth, be funny or they’ll kill you.”
– Billy Wilder
4. Understanding anger as a dilemma
Anger is a problem, a huge one, in your personal and professional life. According to emotional wellbeing, not controlling anger can create a defensive aura around you. How?
→people think you are mad
→if you say any word the person will approach you for escalation.
5. Take a break

When I get angry, I listen to music or change the environment. By doing this you can relieve stress and energize yourself with fresh thoughts.
Places to visit: A park, garden, your friend's house, etc.
6. Ignore to involve with someone
Everything is possible! You can control yourself to stay away from wars and conflicts. Try to avoid people positively just by explaining them to give you some time to get the presence of mind. And this always works.
7. Say some calm words to self
This one is weird, funny or whatever you say but scientifically it's proven that telling some words to self can calm you effectively. You have to say these words.
→ Chill buddy chill
→ It's okay I am good
→ Calm down
→ Or sing IPL music (can make you laugh too :)
Summary of points to reduce anger!
1. Rethink why you are angry 2. Empathize issues 3. Use Humour 4. Understanding anger as a dilemma 5. Take a break(change environment) 6. Ignore to involve with someone 7. Say some calm words to self
